When I first heard about the mangosteen juice in 2003, I was skeptical. After all I have known and consumed the mangosteen fruit since I was a boy, many years ago. And as a trained food technologist, and a knowledgable person regarding food supplements, I had no other updated information about it - at that time.

Fast forward to Sept 2006, my friend who is a senior medical doctor of many years, called and asked me to review the literature - scientific and medical literature about Xanthones, and wow, I was impressed. There IS something to the mangosteen juice!
